Cops Bust Rider Who Allegedly Hit 190 MPH And Posted It Online

  • A motorcyclist allegedly posted videos online of himself breaking countless laws.
  • Officers in Connecticut now say they have charged the person responsible.
  • If it’s who they say it is, the person may still be posting videos of himself breaking the law.

Police claim they’ve arrested a habitually reckless motorcyclist who reportedly reached speeds close to 200 mph (320 km/h) on public roads—on multiple occasions—and documented the stunts on social media. According to police, the person is facing several serious charges. It seems like they might not have gotten the message, though, as their account continues to post similar clips.

Authorities in the state are accusing a 22-year-old of reckless driving, failure to maintain his lane, and reckless endangerment in the first degree. They say they found him after several complaints of dangerous motorcycle riding and subsequent research online.

That investigation reportedly included watching videos posted online of at least one motorcycle operator breaking several laws on their bike. “Through investigative steps, Detectives identified the operator as Brice Bennett (DOB 06/15/2002) of Bloomfield. Numerous search and seizure warrants were drafted for Bennett’s social media platforms, claiming he was the operator recording the reckless operation. The videos depicted Bennett operating the motorcycle at speeds in excess of 190 mph,” the department said in a statement.

It’s worth noting that the official arrest record doesn’t name the YouTube channel or any of the other social media handles. Despite that, it does give us enough detail to determine what channel it likely is. For example, it names two of the titles used on different videos, including “I BROKE MY CBR1000RR-R FIREBLADE SP” and “BMW S1000RR VS RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC.”

For what it’s worth, the following video comes up in the results.

A YouTube account under the name s1krocket appears to feature both of those video titles. Notably, the content of those videos appears to match the police’s descriptions. For example, in the report, the police say that comments on the ‘Broke My CBR’ video indicate that the person filming is the person running the account.

The key comment is a reply from the s1krocket account holder to someone asking, “Video felt a bit shaky sometimes, is the motion stabilizer on?” The account holder then said, “Nah i definitely turned it off on accident 🤣” Carscoops found the same exact comment in the same exact video mentioned by authorities.

So it seems possible that the account authorities are talking about with regard to the suspect is one and the same. If true, it would appear the individual under investigation may still be actively documenting similar high-speed behavior online.

} else {

}
});

As of this writing, a video went up within the last four days containing clips of the camera operator driving in excess of 170 mph in what is described as “Dallas Rush Hour Traffic.” Needless to say, if this person is indeed the account holder and videographer on the s1krocket channel, it would appear that he hasn’t decided to turn over a new leaf. Officers no doubt believe they know what account is his and will surely use every bit of evidence against him.
